This vital work is ongoing, and I will further update the House in due course. The Taskforce has undertaken a comprehensive review of last year’s elections and is now driving forward a programme of work to ensure the UK’s democracy is strengthened and protected against a multitude of threats. This includes work to tackle the unacceptable instances of harassment and intimidation of elected representatives that we saw during the General Election.
