The UK Government announced funding to end rough sleeping in England by Christmas.
As this issue is devolved, Welsh Government will receive consequential funding and now we are waiting for clarity on how this funding will be spent.
Here in Wrexham, we have people being placed across the border in Chester where they are facing huge issues and I will be pursuing this with the relevant agencies.
My particular concerns are:
What safeguards are in place for this cross border arrangement?
What plans the Welsh Government have to ensure rough sleepers in Wales are off the streets by Christmas?
