We are facing a NEET crisis in the UK. Alan Milburn’s publication of his interim findings have given much to consider. In the House of Commons I asked the Minister about how we can improve a system which clearly isn’t working, to make it one focused on participation with employers supported to engage in it.
At the heart of this are young people, this is not their fault and we must use whatever tools we can to address this.
