It was extremely concerning to hear of Conservative Leader Kemi Badenoch’s proposal to scrap the Climate Change Act of 2008. Climate Change is a global emergency and it is vital that climate targets are legally binding, which this Act ensures. Along with MPs from across the House, I am urging Kemi Badenoch to reconsider the position of her party and acknowledge the seriousness of the situation that our country and our planet finds itself in.
