At Home Office Questions earlier I took the opportunity to raise the issue of the communication between the Home Office and Local Authorities in terms of selecting sites for accommodation for asylum seekers. There was acknowledgement that this must improve and local communities given the clarity they should have.
Our recent experiences here in Wrexham have shown that the system must change.
